Curon - Resia, South Tyrol, Italy. Tourists reach the Curon bell tower on foot, set in the ice of Lake Resia. The bell tower of Curon is all that remains of the old town of Curon which was razed to the ground as a consequence of the construction works of the dam of Lake Resia and the widening of the basin. In winter the lake is frozen and the bell tower can be reached on foot.
