St Moritz, Engadin, Switzerland. The White Turf is an annual horses race that take place on the frozen lake of Sankt Moritz. The races take place on three different weekends and see the participation of many tourists and enthusiasts. The rise in temperatures and the lack of snowfall have made the realization of this event increasingly at risk. In 2024, for example, the number of races was reduced due to the conditions of the frozen surface of the lake.
